Winter walk...

Our magical Christmas snow is long gone. Our landscape is back to the traditional damp, cold, and wintry gray. When we look out the window or step out the door, we have a choice to make: perceive the qualities of winter as depressing, or push through to the secret beauty of a cold, gray world. Having a rosy-cheeked little person with whom to brave the elements gives one a head start on pushing through to that beauty.

Every day has the potential to be a beautiful day...she helps me remember that.
